sparkNet uses state-of-the-art servers to meet our customers' needs. Our servers are built
on dual Intel Xeon or AMD Opteron processors, with redundant I/O paths capable of handling
the most demanding e-commerce and interactive sites. Our network is constantly monitored by
our system administrators and advanced monitoring systems, ensuring that each server is
operating normally and performing at peak levels consistently. We take proactive steps to
ensure that customers never experience slowdowns or issues due to server overload or
failure.
Data on each server is backed up nightly to a hot, spare backup drive within each server,
as well as to an off-site repository (in the event of a total server or even datacenter failure).
All backups are encrypted prior to transmission, affording your data the best possible security.

sparkNet's servers are located in the INFOMART
in Dallas, Texas, home to datacenters for the likes of MCI, Level3, Equinix, Verio, Switch & Data,
Verizon, DataSides, and more. The building is powered by three redundant electrical grids, deemed
hospital-grade by TXU. Home to over twelve switch sites and thirty-five different carriers, INFOMART
houses technology and telecom-related businesses in a complex communications ecosystem.
From April 2006 through April 2007, sparkNet servers maintained an uptime of well over 99.98%,
as monitored from several outside monitoring services as well as our own internal monitoring.
